help with a b16 tranny
hey heres my situation..
my friend has a automatic b16. the car wont shift when its suppose to for example. off a stop his first gear has to go to like 35 and the shift to second is hard and violent. 2nd gear to 3rd is the same situation.
we've drained the transmission oil, checked for chunks of metal and no chunks what so ever..
is it a sensor or something?? ecu? secondary throttle cable? anything is welcomed
(he's thinking of selling the complete changeover for 1200 as is if anyeones interested) heh

Make sure the gasket on the tranny casing is on properly. I have a friend with an 86' Mustang, and he had the same problem. You need pressure.
Edit: Make sure there isn't any leaks in the transmission lines, also.
