HELP ASAP
okay i was doing my swap in one of my shells and i was hooking up the starter, and i was tightning the bottom bolt and it motha ******* snaped in there son of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!! now i measured it and there is about half an inch in the block (gussing) and a 1/4 of an inch in the tranny?
So my ? is should i try to get the tranny off or leave it on and only use the top starter bolt only cuz i cant use the bottom one any more !
Should i take the chances and try too get the tranny out?
Will the tranny even come off? cuz there is thread on the tranny part? dont know if it will even pop off! lmk
Will the top bolt of the starter be strong enough to keep the starter in place cuz there's no bottom nut? anyone have any experiences like this need help asap

I would try getting it out first, there are plenty of tools out there to remove broken bolts, if not successful then try removing the tranny, most likely it will come out, it might be a pain in the a$$ though.

Re: (B!^A@)
I would try Bolt-Outs from Craftsman, or there is a thing called "screw out", which are typically used for stripped screws but without a bolt head, it would work as well for those, they have manual applications or for power tool applications. You can get the full set but it's expensive, just take the size of the hole/bolt in to Sears with you and get the small 3 set version for only like 20 bucks or so, and it's worth that because then you'll have 'em.
