I know I posted a few times saying I needed certain colors and such still, but I think the post you're looking at is from June 2007. It's outdated.

But... you can change the color by either:
- Paint the panels (I don't advise this since it might not bond well or might scrape or chip off).
- Replace the parts with the ones you want.

Hmmm... weird. I have it down that DAP cars were all Type-K except for the '97 DX, which I wasn't yet sure of. The '97 CX I have marked as Type-K though. Strange if this is true.

Sorry to raise from the dead but I'm looking for some clarification. Is the Type K basically black? My 96 MR EX says Type K on the door but my CTR arm rest delete is straight black and doesn't match my existing interior trim. Is the Type F actually black or is it that nasty light grey nonsense?

Type K is dark grey. The CTR is black.

I have a 1996 HX coupe, it's black (really a dark, dark, blue), not sure about the interior. there is no paint code that I can find on the driver's side door, nor anywhere else. looks original. I'd upload a picture for you, but I haven't enough posts yet. paint looks original, FWIW, but might not be, the car is, 18 years old, after all.
