hella supertone install in 99si
got a question for you guys that have hella supertone installed in a 99si.. just curious where you guys placed the horns? last night i finished the install as well as the comptech icebox install, I put the horn on a bolt that is used for the front bumper support, so my horn sits close to where the comptech horn comes down, and the driver's side horn is in front of the windshield washer bottl.. both horns are hidden behind the bumper..
when i put the bumper back on, it almost seems like the horn is pushing up against the bumper? I tested the horns with the bumper off and the horns are loud as hell, wonder how they'll perform with the bumper on..
where did you guys with a 96+ place your horns?

I put them on in the same location that I took the stock one off of. I used the bolt that I took off of the stock horn, and put it through the mounting tabs on the two Hellas.

Im guessing you dont live in a mexican neighborhood then, because they have horns that when you press it itll play a music, like madeyachi (sp?) or the mexican hat song. There cool sometimes.

if i understand this correctly, I think I have them this way, only problem is i THINK it might be pushing out onto the bumper, but not certain.. i'll have to check again tonight

Yup. The mounting tabs were long enough that you can use a single bolt to mount them. I think it was designed this way because they are different tones and should be next to each other to work best.
