Heater not blowing hot
for some reason my heater just stopped working. it blows worm air but not hot all 1-4 speeds work just fine i think i could here the trap door opening and i checked the fuse and it's good i'm thinking it might be a relay or something else not too sure
.....i also noticed there's like oil or burning smell when run and my radiator is fine the thermostat stays where it should....
i'm not to sure if this is involved but my ignition switch went and i just connected a wire
with a switch so i can start my car and i have to have the key in the ignition to unlock my wheel and to have my fans running

Re: Heater not blowing hot (NLFer)
Does your engine temperature gauge go high quickly? Check your coolant levels, the heater uses hot coolant from the engine and the heater going cold is a symtom of a coolant leak.
Don't let your motor overheat - you will possibly damage/warp the head and blow the head gasket. To tell where coolant is leaking buy some coloured coolant which leaves a visible trace where it has leaked from.
