Heater Core removal question Help almost done
93 del sol
so I have the dash removed the a/c side condensor and blower fan removed.
all the bolts from the inside of the heater core are removed
now my question is
I have to remove both hoses from the engine bay and the last mounting nut
how is the piping going to be setup for the coolant once I remove the heatercore
is it just a separate pipethe circulates the coolant??? or is it part of the heater core>>
I just dont wanna coolant everywhere and want to figure this one out before i start taking things apart..
Reason: I'm putting the car on a diet and have plans to have to put boost controller where the ac and heat controls once were
also with all this stuff removed is it going to be whicked hot and smell like gas all the time just pondering ???
can anybody help....????

Just loop or block the 2 lines that come from the tube on the block.
Drain the coolent out, however you still may spill a little, it just something that happens, clean it up and move on.
I have only ridden in one car with heater core removed and i couldnt tell it was untill i was told it was. No extra heat or gas smell that i could tell.
