I remember reading this somewhere but I'm not sure if I'm remembering it correctly but....

I read somewhere that 4-2-1 headers are more for mid-range power and 4-1 headers are more for high end power. Maybe it was vice-versa.....

Any advice would be appreciated alot.

you are correct... but most B-series owners live above 5,000 RPM anyway

i hit the rev limiter a minimum of 5 times a day on my swapped Del Sol

i rarely go below 4,000 rpm when driving

That was what I was told, so I went with the 4-2-1 (DC) and I like them in my EJ, but I am in LA with TRAFFIC so any day I hit 5000 is a DAMN good day!

Let's say I did get 4-2-1 headers. What RPM ranges are we talking about when you say "mid-range". Are talkin like more power around 4-5000?

And the 4-1 headers would give more power around 5-6000?

What RPM ranges would the power increase for 4-2-1 and 4-1?

give or take a little you hit the nail on the head with those ranges
