b18c1 hatch/Header Length Issue to Cat.
Put a 2001 B18c1 in the hatch this week, and the GSR "header" was too short to reach my stock 94' Si exhaust. I welded in an extenstion just to get me by for awhile till I can afford a new exhaust.
I picked up a cheap Greddy header, and it is even shorter than the GSR "header". Also, the Greddy header doesnt have the O2 plug in..
I was thinking about getting either a high flow cat, or test pipe. I need something with an O2 housing, and the "longer" length to meet up with the Greddy header..
Any Ideas on what high/flow cats I could use that would be long enough?
I may just end up getting something totally custom made up, but I kinda want something to get by without spending tons o' $$$$$
Other than that the swap turned out great!

alright it looks like you have gotten ahold of a header for prolly an older integra 90-93 , but hey who knows , anyway if i were you , i would take the cat out , go to a muffler shop , have them weld a flange on it to bolt to your header and a flange on the other end for your exhaust , and it that flange put an o2 bung , that will work just fine! good luck

The '00 and '01 GS-R exhaust manifolds are the same length as all gen3 Integra RS/LS/GS/SE/ITR's. Any GS-R before '00 has the shorter collector length that ends just after the header bracket...not several inches behind it like the other Integra's.
Get an o2 bung and drill the header collector. Have Andy weld the bung on.
I don't know if Andy has the machine to flare piping ends, so you may have to take the car to an exhaust shop that'll let you leave without a cat on, and have them fab you a test pipe of the appropriate length. Flare one end for the donut gasket, slip on a universal 2.25" 2-bolt flange behind it, and weld the 3-bolt flange on the other end.
