I just purchased a DC 4-1 header for my del sol w/ b16. I tryed searching for a step by step how to, but all the links are dead or the pics are now red x's. So anyone wanna help me out, let me know what tools I need and pretty much just take me through the procedure. I just dont wanna mess anything up. You help is much appreciated. TIA

P.S. pics would help alot!

take out all of your o2 sensors and transfer them to the new header.....the nuts the hold the header to the head at 12 mm.....you can use a socket wrench for that...if they are too tight an air gun might help....and then the exhaust manifold down pipe that connects to the cat....you ahve a 12 and a 14....those are simple enough.....take those out and it should drop right down....don't forget to switch over the manifold gasket

It's pretty straightforward. Probably have to remove your radiator/ac fans. When you take the bolts off the studs in the head, start from the farthest outside and work in, then go opposite of that putting it back on. When torquing the nuts onto the studs be sure your not sideways on the nut, that the force is applied straight onto the nut, and you dont' torque more than about 20 ft-lbs. Snapping a stud is a PITA.

Correct Sir!!! Just unbolt it and bolt the other one back on

This shouldn't be a problem if you can get the car high enough to slide the header in from underneath. If you can't though, you'll probably have to take the fans off so you can drop it in sideways.

I would proabably buy a new O2 sensor as I could not get the one out of my stock manifold and I know a few people who have, but they cause ploblems and threw codes until they got a new one.

I think buying an O2 sensor removal socket/tool would be cheaper and more useful.... also dont forget about the exhaust header donut gasket.... if taken off carefully it should be reusable... otherwise they arent that much from honda...
