I have a quick question for you guys...i was trying to wire up my freinds mirriors, which have turn signals on them...we ran the two wires from the turn signals in the mirriors (ground and "feed"?)...

we ran the feed for the left turn signal to the left turn signal wire, spiced it and soldered it to the car's turn signal...we did the same to the other side...

then came time to run the ground, this we were not quite sure on...so we ran each sides and grounded it to the negitive baterry terminal...we striagntened at all the wires made it look good and it worked perfectly...seemed to be a job well done, we danced around all happy...then a fuse blew and they went out...repeatdly we changed the fuses tried different sizes...

did we ground the wires to the wrong place? instead of the battery do we ground each of the mirriors wires to the car's turn signal ground wire...plz help thx
