Default Hayame coilovers - any experience?

Normally I wouldn't even entertain this type of question, but from all the research I have been seeing, it looks like Tokico has built the main portion of this unit. Any experience with them - its the only body adjustable coilover setup i have seen for under $1000..

I have not been able to find out that information either - or if the spring rates can be supplied to order.

those springs appear to be the same ones as the skunk2 ones.... how much are they?

7"long springs/2.5 diameter/12K spring rate.

they look like eibach. I can't be sure though. The numbers look familiar though. I'd say if the components are good, who cares what name it carries.

The numbering system does look very familar compared to the Ground controls that my brother has. If it turns out that the components are ERS springs and Tokico shocks, these coilovers would be a steal (Ive seen pricing between $699-$750) Just trying to find out somemore information and mabye give some others another alternative to the big $$ ones that are out there now..

I am trying to find them - I know they are distributed by SPW, but have not found a good technical resource. Perhaps someone in a shop might have a contact they could pass along?

i just seen these at groupbuycenter... not a bad deal for $650 shipped

anyone find out whose making these springs? from groupbuy, the ad says matched spring rates for specific models, listing only car models no rates.

Those coilovers have everything going for them, EXCEPT the dampening isnt adjustable. I almost bought some, but hayame didnt help enough, they didnt even know springs, spring rate, whether the shocks were servicable, etc, etc. I would also have to know what kind of spring rates they could handle, and that was unknown as well.

Its kinda funny how the company that has their own name on the coilover don't even know jack **** about them.

Those look like linear springs to me. I had no idea a relatively cheap full coilover was available with those. Someone buy these and tell everyone else if they're good or not! Are the shocks adjustable? Are they shortened bodies?

More info please

Are SS's height adjustable without adjusting spring tension?

I wouldn't buy Hayame's coilovers; buy OBX's instead. http://www.obxracingsports.com...tID=4 But really, if those things don't adjust dampening then it's not really worth it. Spend a few more bills for a similar setup where you can at least adjust the dampening.
