Default hay a quick question about automatics
I have an all stock 97 civic ex coupe and the button that you press in to move the shifter is super hard to press in but it slides into gear fine. Is this a linkage problem or just some mechanisms in the actual shifter??? All help is appreciated

most likely in the actual shifter. if it goes into gear and stays there i would rule out the linkage
