Default having bad vibration when braking.. ideas??

hi guys car is a 95 hatch with drum rear brakes.
they shook real bad when braking over 40mph
i redid them on both sides with rebuild kit aswell.
pads were not worn all the way down.

after install problem still persists.

what else could this be?
195,000 on car. bushings look a little worn back there.. like the trailing arm.
would that be a culprit?

it is the rear that is shaking? usually the front rotors warp and causes the car to shake. if you have worn bushings, that can cause shake... but not as likely as a warped front rotor. pull the rotors in the front and check them.

I have the same problem and I know this is because of front rotors.. Change them and everything will be alright.

Check your rotors. Did you ever replace them? They do warp causing vibrations during braking. It may also be a out of round drum. Have you ever replaced your drums?

easy check before pulling wheels off...get up to speed and put it in neutral, pull up your parking brake. if you get the same vibration it's your rear brakes.
