Default Hasport Motor mounts installed. pics inside

it is really the pain in the butt to get the rear mount off when engine is still intacted.took me 1 hour alone to take it off.and installed it took me 45 mins. here are the steps of what i did.
i jacked up the car, put a support right under neath the back of the tranny and removed T bracket and then rear mount. with heater core in the way ,really annoying.. finally got the rear mount off..installation is just reverse.
front two mounts are pain too as hasport is really firm and there is not much room to move around the mounts. the whole job took me 3 hours to complete.
pm if u have any questions. and dont go cheap with mounts.u will end up buying a good ones and waste your time on swap them again.

Appearance/Cosmetic stuff belongs in the Appearance/Cosmetics forum.

This is a tech forum.

In case you're wondering why those fall under appearance/cosmetic even though they aren't for aesthetics, it's simply b/c this post has no tech value, it's simply images, which makes it cosmetic, not technical.

I remember when I had them on my eg with an itr swap. It was really stiff. Made the whole car shake at times. I would recommend getting inserts for the oem mounts vs the hasport if you're looking to stiffen it up a bit especially if you're not doing a swap.

What kind of inserts exactly? Polyurethane or new rubber ones?

x2
Vibration is bad, and loud. I would only use the mounts for racing.

Weird. I have zero complaints about these mounts. I have no vibration at all. (GSR Ej8)

You've got to be joking.

I love HASport, but to say their mounts don't vibrate is just impossible.

I have the same setup - EJ8 with GSR - and vibration at idle isn't too bad. I also have the mounts with the softest inserts that Hasport makes, which isn't all that soft... durometer is 62A I believe. to the mounts though, I don't mind the vibrations at all. I suspect a lot of the complaints are coming from people with loud exhausts in addition to the mounts.
