The whole point of the slanted exhaust is to be more "straight through"... Now why would you want to have a slanted exhaust that does nothing but look funny?

Think about it man.... Picture it....

Piping down middle:
---||---
----\\--

Piping down side:
-----||-
------\\

You cant slant it that much cus it'll end up sticking out the side of your car.... Unless thats what you want.

The piping goes under the Rear LCA to get more of a slant and for better flow. Apexi now has a different version of the n1 out and it now has less of a slant but it still has it a little.

Heres the new one of my friends 5g hatch

Here is my old N1 that broke and it DID go under the LCA

how's the clearance with your ek and the apex n1? also, are you able to use a lower tie bar with the piping from apex?

Yes, u are able to use a lower tie bar. I actually had a coupe exhaust by accident so we custom fabbed some **** up and it fitted. The midpipe was the worst part but I did bump the axleback somewhat.

Possoble with custom piping. After passing the LCA, bent the pipe towards the center then bend it back so when you attach the muffler, is slanted.

A lot of ricers are doing it in our place.
But makes no point at all.

I have a 5ziegen fireball catback that came on my car and i hate the slanted look. I am looking for an itr muffler or I am just going to buy an oval es and out it on so it will look cleaner.
