Default Are harnesses really necessary for EG power mirrors?

I want to get power mirrors for my 92 civic( power adjustable ones, NOT

Folding) and I was wondering is it possible to wire up without the harnesses?

It would be possible but a real bitch if you wanted to leave the factory plug coming out of the mirror. You'd have to solder to the leads. The other option would be to cut out the factory plug located in the mirror and splice right to the wires there.
IT can't be that hard to find the plugs though. I'd rather have the right way than this way.
