H23a1 good motor?

H23a1 good motor?
I'm thinking about getting a hatch with a h23a1 motor but have been told h series arent that good...it's just going to be a daily, so not looking for much power but looking for a good motor. Any input?

Aren't that good? What else did "they" tell you?
Displacement (cc):2258
Power (bhp@rpm):160 @ 5,800 rpm
Torque (ft/lbs@rpm):156 @ 4,500 rpm
Compression Ratio:9.8:1
Bore (mm):81
Stroke (mm):95
Cam Design:DOHC
Excellent candidate for some boost.
Go H23A-VTEC and you'll have a beast if you ever choose to go that route.
