would it be better off to just get a harness from the usdm motors? or from the prelude

you can if you want to - wire is wire..its all made from the same **** just has different colored jackets...a spool of speaker wire is cheap and will solve your issue..but if you want to play it safe, its understandable.

reach where? the Big blue plug? or the small plugs like the vss or the o2 wires?
that harness should work fine, you should only have to extend tps alt iac and maybe one or two more im forgetting.

are you useing the EJ harness or the SH harness?

Damn Man, is that what i have to look fopward to when i do my H22 Type S swap. that wiring looks like a cluster F**K. im trying top figure out what you guys are talking about. the engine is going to come with a wiring harness ? then i guess the problem is hooking it into the exsiting Si harness ? is there anything thats different between the two, or is it just plug and play ? somebody please explain the whole wiring harness thing to me.. ??

hasport... send them the new motor harness and the harness that is in your car at the time, and you will receive a perfect length plug and play harness.
