Chances are you have a jdm h22a standard 200hp and 160tq. Do you have any pictures? I can confirm it by looking at the intake manifold, header, valve cover etc..

If it says p13 all over the place...it means you have a regular Jdm h22a, the m2b4 means that its an lsd tranny.

p5p should be the type S

Does the jdm type s really have p5p stamped on it besides p13?

if its a full type s swap, then it wouldnt have an m2b4 transmisson, instead it would come with the M2U4 tranny w/atts.

From what I've read and from past experiences, Yes.

the intake says pgmfi it has a header not the stock mani. it seems like the head said p13. is this the 10.6:1 compression motor? the ecu is square and has p13-a12 on the side. i think its a usdm ecu. also along with the egr being deleted, the vacuum to the butterfly valve is disconnected for some reason. so it looks like i need to look into it more. is there an electrical drive to the butterflies? sorry i forgot the actual word for the butterflies.

If the ecu says "37820-P13-A12" Its an ecu from the 96 VTEC Prelude, one of those uncommon obd2 p13's.

the letter "a" on your ecu p13-a12 means that its usdm. Most japanese ecu will have complete numbers instead of lettering. For example p13-012 "0" zero being a number

If the motor is stamped h22a without a number after "a" then its the jdm motor which is 10:6 compression. However if you get a number after h22a such as h22a7 "7" indicated Euro R model which is from Europe and not JDM.

They removed the egr from the intake manifold? is there a plate used to block the missing egr valve? Also check to see if the intake manifold still has the IAB box underneath the manifold or the "dual butterfly box".

If you like you can actually use a obd1 p72 ecu from the Gsr instead because it also has the IAB function on it just in case you plan on using that IAB box.

Afterwards you can get this ecu chipped and tuned

gotcha on the ecu and eng. its a jdm eng with lsd trans and a usdm ecu.

there is a blank off plate on the manifold.

not sure where the iab box is but i will look and see what i can find. would there be a blank off if it was gone?

i have a p06 with the correct board for modding into a p28 with iab control. i'll be using that.

Actually the accord Euro-R was intended for the Japanese market. The Accord Type R is for the European market. I dont know why lol.

And these are some if not all the H series motors around the world.

i found the wiki link the other day when i was searching around. it just sucked for me because the damn valve cover has been polished. i think i'll sand it up and paint it black. it looks old and like a bad polish job.
