I know everyone would tell me to get a b18c5 but i'm not that much into it and i was wondering which would be better? i have a 94 civic ex and i wanted to know if i could put a h series motor into the civic and still keep my a/c? is there a difference in h22 and h23? what is it? and last which motor is in the 99 prelude?

the h22 is vtec. yes, u can put it in ur civic.

but aint the h22 a heavy motor? and wouldnt the b18c5 be betta becuz it has more aftermarket products out there?

h22 is a 2.2 liter vtec engine while the h 23 is 2.3 liter non vtec but im sure u could have figured that out and i know that the SH prelude has the 22 but i only know that the 2.3 was put in the early ed preludes, i would go with the b18 cause there is alot more parts advailable and i heard it is much easer to work on then the h22 cause the h22 is a great motor but a bitch to work on. GO WITH AN b18 or the H22 vtec which ever u can afford
