h22a front disc brake into eg b16a...
guys...need ur opinion bout this....im using eg running on b16a2 and the problem is the brake is not suitable anymore because im done a lot of modification to the powerplant...
so im thinking to change the front disc brake to h22a disc brake.....and the problem is the pcd is different from the b16a2(pcd 100) and need to drill the rotor to make it...pcd 100.....so i want to know the RELIABILITY of the rotor after the rotor was drilled.is there any other way to put the h22a rotor beside drill a new pcd 100 to the rotor????thanks....

I looked into the conversion before (since jhpusa sent me the front spindles with the H22 I bought from them ). I'll have to search my home computer for exactly what is needed, but off the top of my head, you need 94+ teg steering knuckles too, and a lot of work at the machine shop. Its not really worth it over a set of si/gsr discs with proper MC/BB, proportioning valve, brake lines, and pads.

i think its a lot more cost efficient to do it without the lude discs. I have discs off a gsr (4 wheel), gsr MC/BB, 40/40 proportioning valve, stainless steel break lines, master cylinder brace, brembo rotors, and hawk pads. I have no problems at all locking up the brakes if I wanted to, and it's more than enough to stop my H powered sol. If you want the lude brakes, by all means go for it. I'm just saying that adequite stopping power can be obtained easier and cheaper than that. One other thing I forgot to mention is that you have to run 16" or larger wheels for the lude discs too.
