H22 in my civic
I'm thinking about getting an H22 in my 4 door cause this guy in my school has it and he's spanking everyone out there. I heard he was in Chinatown one night smoking all the RX7s and what not. How much you think it'd cost for a swap like that?

So if he ran his car off the bridge would you do it to?
Anyway... What year 4dr? You need mounts, axles, cable linkage, ECU, custom wiring and other misc. things along with the motor. My total would prollay be
$3,000 +.

Including cutting and welding a new mount, if you cant do it yourself someone has to weld it in for you. If you do it yourself, around $3500 for the swap. If you pay someone, more like $4500.

Re: H22 in my civic (1 point 6)
I am also debating on weather to go with the H22 or B18C5?
The H22 would be a bit better cause it has more torques to pull the weight around, but hen again its heavier and a bit more work to install.
Fawk i need to make a deciasion also.
Sorry for jackin

people always throw in the weight comment on the h22, unless your big on autcross the slight weight gain from the h22 is practically irrelavant, it has the tourqe to pull it self

Ok cool, yes i want to take it to a Road couse not the drag strip, not so much Auto cross.
I guess i can relocate the battery and other odds and ends to help the weight distribution.
Thanks

well if your into rad racing you may wanna lean to the b18c5, b/c my friend had a h22a in his 2000 civic si and he had noticable front end push! but you may be able to even out the weight up front some. relocate the battery, ditch a/c, cruise control, possible power steerin. up to you though. Also dont be afraid a b18c5 wont pull hard, i have one in my 96 coupe, vtec kicks in like a bat out of hell.
