Guess my HP!! I'm too poor to Dyno it:[ help me out
torqueless wonder or not, they are still weak *** ****.
and yes the d16 is probly a rotating pile of ****, all im saying is neither of them will be fast without forced induction or compleltly built, a b16 running 15s is not fast either,
and really a mustang running low fourteens is not fast,
.

but anyways the z6 u wasted ur money on is bnot going to go any faster with boltons, could have went with an ls which happens to be my favorite swap. cheap and alot of tq.
and no way in hell u will beat a b16 with ur d16, either one shoudl never be raced because they both are slower than family cars
yeah I agree with everyone else maybe 120 at the wheels. The motor may come factory 130, but that's at the flywheel. Due to friction and transfer of power from the motor to the tranny to the wheels, you lose about 15% of power, so in actuality, the brake horse power is less that what the factory tells you. Basic bolt-ons like intake and exhaust never give you the 10-15 horsepower they promise, a car can have as many bolt-ons as you can get in that engine bay, but they never put out the full potential without a chipping ecu and a good dyno tune session.

i know no b16 makes that much at the wheels im just saying the average b16 u come across has basic boltons that should be somewhere around the 160whp range
u can run mid 14's with a stock b16 in a lighter chassis though
Sorry there hotdog, but changing flywheel weight doesn't make any extra hp. It does help the engine rev quicker, which will also help the gearbox accelerate quicker, so it would seem like the car is making more power, which it kinda is, but it's really not. Get it? Check this out if you're still confused....

just like heavier wheels. not alot maybe like 1hp or less
an article claiming dyno results of 8 hp and torque!

So I must insert foot in mouth here. Oops.

I'm confused, 125hp from the factory + a **** load of bolt-on's should add up to more than that.
Can someone please explain?

thats to the flywheel no to the wheels you loose alot of power as it makes its way throught the motor all the way to the wheels i'd say a stock Z6 makes like 98whp
to see what u made instead of dyno tuning it you can get a dyno pull over here its like $70 for 3 pulls
really are r u serious? mine made 164whp at 8000rpms but it was still pullin the tuner didnt want to go higher than stock rpms but he told me i could easily make well 170-175whp AND ALL I HAD WAS ITR CAMS STOCK BOTTOM END i wreck gsr hathies so please there no crap its just the tourqe that sucks lol
Probably.
You have started profiling people by the engine they have? I would love to see the formula you have developed to accomplish this.
D-series owners: Know how to drive, keep the Honda name sacred and spend less money doing it?
B-series owners: Do not know how to drive, have shitty expensive set-ups and "smear the name of Honda" every time the show up at the track?
H-series owners: (Would need to see you proprietary formula to fill this in)
K-series owners: (Would need to see you proprietary formula to fill this in)
You sir, have just shown your true colors. I await an intelligent response from you regarding this matter.

But I remember when a guy with a B20 on drag radials went to the track, his best time was a 8.9 in the 1/8th, and he beat every one of the idiots which were there that night.
There are people who show up with no exhaust, or open header and just make a **** ton of noise and go nowhere. Most of them have the mentality of "I have a B series, my car is fast".
Normally people with K series (few people have K's) actually know how to drive, because they are usually way more experienced than the idiots with their B swaps. Since its not as easy to do a K swap. And the only H series I have seen are people with preludes with super loud ricey exhausts, and always with **** times.
I have seen some people with D series who dont know how to drive. But usually people who come to the track with D series (especially ones with light mods) usually know how to drive. And they are usually racing because they are saving up for a swap or boost and want to see how well they do. Or they cant afford to do expensive mods, so they just focus on driving.
I'm not sure how it is in other places, but thats basically how it is here.
lemme change my previous post. trolls trolling trolls being trolled by trolls.
you idiots are arguing about stereotypes. has that EVER gotten ANYWHERE in the past?

I didnt say all B series owners dont know how to drive. But that is the norm for people around here. They go to the track and just make Honda owners look like ****ing retards. They cant launch, dont know how to get traction after they launch, and they constantly miss gears, or shift slow as ****. And then you talk to them about why their car is slow and they are like no its so fast that I just cant get traction. When they are racing on walmart tires and powershifting while they are spinning tires. The sad thing is that its not even the same people every week.

If you are going to continue making this brash generalization of B-series owners you need to make it clear everytime that you are stating your opinion of people around you in your area.
I don't believe i should be hunting a d-series swap for my R because if i have a B in it i'm a ***got.
