Guage install tips and tricks needed 94 del sol
Hey This is my first Honda-Tech post ever so excuse me if i seem like a noob haha. I have a 94 Del Sol with a B18B1 Swap in it, and I've learned just how intoxicating it is have a wrench in my hand so I'm glad I'm here. BUT at night the backs of my guages don't light up. Ive been itching for a reason to get some backlit electro luminescent guage faces; but im wondering if there are any things in my application (i.e. the del sol in particular) i should look out for while doing the install like how to propperly remove and reinstall the needles or if i should just throw caution to the wind, open it up and dive right in?

Re: Guage install tips and tricks needed 94 del sol
you said your cluster lights dont work correct?
i would first check the dimmer switch. i know you have to jump two wires, not sure which off the top of my head right now, but if they light up after jumping them, you just need a dimmer switch.
personally, id stay away from the idiglo junk guages, my car had them when i got it, and i dont care for them... the transformer that lights them up went bad, so now i wired it back to stock lights...
hopefully this helps, use the search for how to check the dimmer switch, sorry i dont know right now... lol.
