which GSR seats will fit directly into a 5g Civic HB w/o modifications??

The front bolt in like stock.

The rear go in, but they aren't 100% stock fit.

You'll have to bend the tab on the GS-R seat cushion to get it to rest correctly into the slot in the Civic's chassis, and even after it fits pretty good there will be a 2'' gap on each side of the seat cushion because the GS-R seats are only 2 seater and a tad more narrow than your Civic 3-seater cushion.

It will look just fine after some finnessing. You can always add some little strips of carpet on each side of the rear seat cushion to make it look more O.E.

The seat backs in the rear bolt in like stock, but if you want it to look 100% stock then pull the tabs off the back that hold the way big GS-R cargo carpet and pull off the GS-R cargo carpet. Attach your Civic's cargo carpet to the seatbacks of the GS-R seats and you're done.



...At least that's how I remember it when I swapped seats into my old 1992 Si hatch.

which years or year of GSR front seats will fit the fronts?
and do I have to swap the rails from the civic to the gsr or no??

the two front will fit perfect no modification. on the other hand the rear will not fit i just tried installing my rears just to see how off it would be and the part where your back rest is perfect fit, the part where your *** sits is off by 3 inches on each side big gap if u ask me looks like chit, but i was told to get 2 door gsr rear bottom seat and it will fit perfect right now i think i have sedan seats.
