What does your ignition timing have anything to do with your belt cover? You are talking about loosening the bolts on your distributer and adjusting your ignition timing that way right?

Re: (SilverAWD)
correct but on my d16y8 on the cover of the t belt there is the v thing that you use to align or point the gun at while adjusting the ignition timing. on my gsr I see nothing like it. so therefore I can't adjust my timing.

I don't know......really. It might be missing or I misseed it myself. does anyone have a pic of its location? Should it be in the same location as a d series?

Re: (mortificationrock)
If you're looking down at the crank pulley, while standing infront of the car, it should be slightly towards you, on the plastic cover.
