Default GSR front brake question (Updated)

I searched and couldn't find this..

When swapping GSR front brakes onto a 92-95 civic, can you use the Civic's stock brake lines? The rubber line to the caliper?

i don't think you can. don't quote me thought, the things i have read suggest that u change out the brake lines along with the calipers. im not exactly sure why, but that's what ur supposed to do. When i swapped my brakes out thats what i did.

uf you don't want to put all the bolts holding the brake line the it ok, if you do then no you can't use your stock brake line cause it is too short... use your gsr brake line and remember to bleed the fartest brake first in a x pattern... rear right, front left, rear left then front right....

Another question for you guys..
Is it ok to use the GSR's front upper control arm , instead of my stock civic's one? When I got the brake swap it included the upper control arms, knuckles rotors, and calipers... they all have very nice after market bushings on them so i figured why not waste then and use it all..

This is true. Even if you don't use the line brackets, the lines fit very snug, a little too tight for my liking. I soon after replaced them with 92-95 Si stainless steel brake lines, and the fitment is what it should be, I feel alot safer now.

That's odd, is it really obviously pointing in? I did not notice any drastic change in alignment after doing mine, nothing you would see from simply looking at it.

I have tried it, it works but you really put a strain on the line - better if you use the Acura lines or better yet - braided stainless steel.
