gsr dual stage intake manifold vs single runner
I've been searching for actual dyno results of stock gsr dual stage intakes and single runner intakes to compare the power curve. All I can seem to find is people arguing which is better with very little to back it up. I understand the theory to both, so I'm not looking for an explanation as to how they work. I'm looking for dyno results to see which is better suited for me.

Whats your setup? If your motor is stock stay with the stock manifold. I had a stock GSR motor with a skunk 2 intake it feels good but I drove my friends with a stock manifold and it feels like the one with the stock manifold with dual butterflies working has more bottom end torque than mine with just the skunk2. Its all based on your setup. I put in CTR cams into mine later and a tune and that bitch picked up big time but then again its not stock anymore.

Re: (Bumbuso)
my friend has a 1998 gsr with jdm 4-1 header 2001 itr cams skunk cam gears aem cold air intake. 5 zigen fireball catback. and a test pipe.
then we put a skunk2 intake manifold on it and a bored type r throttle body. and a fpr it made a big difference in high end from 5-8 but. all in all these were great mods to do.
i know your looking for charts but i just thought i would tell you all the mods and how much difference it made and what we thought.

Re: gsr dual stage intake manifold vs single runner (doood)
I haven't built the motor yet. I'm in the planning stages. I want it to still be somewhat reasonable as a daily driver. I was thinking cams with a slight increase in duration and tuned with cam gears. I'll probably stick with a 4-2-1 header. I don't want to push the power too far into higher rpms. I don't mind losing some low end torque, but I don't want it to be a dog around town. I made that mistake with the last motor.
Thanks for the dyno chart.
