As some of you might know, I'm rocking the GSR dash now. It's a pretty fun mod that didn't cost very much money. A lot of people on here have seen it in person, but I never posted pics for some reason. Maybe I'm just lazy and I was super bored tonight. Please excuse my messy car.

yea The Civic seats are very snug against the Integra console.

I'm probably going to end up getting some USDM ITR seats, if I can find some for the right price.

how are you doing your door panels? Heating them up and leaving the door shut for a while or cutting the panels to fit? Just wondering cuz I know someone who is torn between what to do about the door panels when he does the dash swap.

To be honest, I'd rather not tell yet. I promise I will post pics as soon as they are done.


PS - Just a hint, it only takes minutes to heat them up and slam the door shut. I've been working on mine in my spare time for about 2 months now.

I did that swap in my civic and i am woundering how you got your gauge cluster to fit that nice and how did you mount you arm rest and center console? Did you use the teg mounts and do you have pics on it?

The steering wheel is actually black, but unfortunately the Civic and Integra had slightly different materials used for covering interior pieces. I used to have a leather Integra steering wheel, but I sold it before I did the dash swap

As far as the question goes for fitting the cluster, I found it to be the most difficult part. I actually managed to get it to fit PERFECT. The screws for the bezel even line up. Here is the procedure.....

1. Remove the big dash support brace that the Civic normally used. This will make your steering column drop down Not a good thing if you want to drive the car.

(Solution) - Grade 8 bolts and washers: Fixes everything

2. Once you get the dash all nice and in there, procedure to beat the living **** out of the upper portion of the steering column to dent it to make the cluster fit.

- worked out great for me, and no one can tell unless I tell them.

Are people really scared of the wiring? I'd be willing to make a plug and play harness to make this conversion work

Heh, i used the harness that came with my dash from a 94LS.... It required me to trim to holes off one plug, then all three plugged right into the fuse box; and then i tapped for power for the hazards.... DONE (well almost, the rear defrost stays on, not sure if thats wiring or bad switch though)

The wiring for the rear defrost is the only thing I didnt take the time to figure out. My rear defrost is the only part of the dash that is not functional. I could easily figure it out given 5 minutes, but I just don't have enough motivation yet.
