GSR cams in a B16
I know the GSR cams are bigger than the B16 cams, but are they really that much better to buy stock cams and put in? LMK what you guys have to say

x2. Most people say they really do feel an improvement in their mid range torque, when the GSR cams are installed. They are also great for boost.

I got a pair for free and swapped them into my 1st gen B16 (old crap cams) in an afternoon. Huge increase in intake noise just after the vtec crossover, which confirms the lift and duration spec differences. Overall slight difference, but worth it for a couple hours of work and a trip to fetch them. I was revisiting this topic earlier this week on another board and it's even less of a difference when you have a newer iteration of B16. Don't pay much.

I dont plan on putting them in just seen people do it and wondered if they are really that much better... I would do CTR cams myself...

if you can convince someone just to give you the ex cam and pair it with a ctr/itr intake cam that will net better gains on the b16.
Thats what i run in my car currently and gained 11 whp with tune and better mid power curve

I'm with cabbage-patching Mega Man. And get it tuned after you install said supermassive valvetrain, unless you like broken engine.

CTR cams are still a waste of time. Get big aftermarket cams and valvetrain upgrades - which you'll need for the CTRs in your B16 anyhow - and tune it so you're making real power instead of placebo HP.
