Default GSR cam vs ITR cam Identification

I have searched and read all the posts, and looked at the FFsquad website.

My supposed ITR cams have one engraved ring on the intake and exhaust side, and three protruding rings on the lip, like this (this is a 96+ GSR)

My old (95 JDM GSR) cams have the same 3 protruding rings. DID NOT look like this...they looked just like the pic above. Minus the engraved ring.
.

I noticed in all the websites there was no distinction between the early USDM and JDM ITR cams.

I'm guessing it's just a pic of the USDM and maybe (hopefully) mine have the three rings on the lip and one engraved ring (Int and Exh) because they are early JDM R cams.

Both cams have an M stamped into the middle of them.

to my knowledge the itr's are smooth on the protruding ring... they do not have ridges on them like the pic you posted or say b16 cams... so i dont think you have itr's if yours look like that first pic

Oh man, I hope these aren't B17 cams like my buddy bought thinking they were ctr cams. I think he had those 3 rings on his. I'm not 100%. Sorry, this is all I know and I know it's not what you want to hear.

they're not b17 cams.....look at the first pic....mine have an engraved ring on the distributor side. I think they're 99 GSR cams, b/c the head they came with was a 99 GSR. I just don't understand because it came with Crower valvetrain, and suppsedly ITR valves. The head turned out to also have a cracked valveguide, so it had to go to the machine shop. When it got there the scoring was too bad to even use. So i ended up using my old head, had it ported and milled. i the crower stuff, and the "ITR" valves, along with my original GSR cams. I definitely took it up the *** on this one , but at least i'll have a sweet setup once i get some good cams.
