GSR brake swap, wheel clearance?
I am planning on swapping my drums out for some GSR brakes, and was wondering if I would have a problem with wheel clearance. It is on an EG with del sol fat fives (14"). I searched and didnt really find much, except the writeup about putting HX wheels on an 99 Civic Si, which leads me to think that I will have a clearance issue (since Si brakes=GSR brakes). And if there is a clearance issue, will following that writeup fix it?

if you're only swapping the rears, they will clear. if you're swapping the fronts as well, jack the car up and pull a wheel off. if it won't fit on the knuckle you have, save some more money and buy a set of wheels before you swap the brakes

They will fit on the rear. The rear GSR brakes are small. HXs don't fit on the front of GSR brakes or SI with out modification or a wheel spacer.

actually, integra > ex/si calipers
since the fat fives were on del sol vtec models, and they came optioned with abs (which are the same as integra calipers) you should not have issues.
But, if you do, just throw a 5mm spacer on the fronts

INTEGRA calipers will bolt on perfectly to an ex/si/abs civic knuckle without any modification.
They will bolt to a dx knuckle with machine work to the bracket.
All integra (non R) caliper pistons are 57mm!
(man, how many times do we have to go over this, guys?)

I was talking about the 99 civic si, arent those brakes the same as the GSR's?
