GSR Brake ? and Cross Drilled or Slotted?
Ok, I just got some GSR Brakes for my 93 Civ Hatch. I have the control arm and calipers. I know I need to get the rotors so this is where my first question goes to. I was thinking about getting the FastBrakes Slotted or Cross Drilled. I was wondering which is the better rotor Cross Drilled or Slotted?
Also, in order to complete the swap I don't need to get the GSR Master Cylinder do I? Is there anything else that I would need in order to complete it??? Thanks a lot!

Well slotted for racing, cross-drilled otherwise. I'd say cross drilled would be my choice, but i may be wrong. or my knowledge you can get a combo

only get cross drilled rotors if the holes have been MOLDED INTO THE ROTOR!!!!!!!! other wise the rotors are MUCH more prone to cracking.

no everybody is wrong
stay away from BOTH slotted and cross drilled. stick with regular blanks. they will last longer and perform better.

I also utilized the GS-R master and booster...That will close the loop

I have been the cross drilled route, And unless your doing it for looks or Track only car, you will be wasting your money!

Scott-
you're gonna notcie a big difference goin' to the GSR setup as is. Unless you can come across a deal on rotors I wouldn't bother. Remember going with the GSR setup won't let you fit 13" over em (just in case you're rollin' stocks for the winter).
I came across a deal on some rotors.....
hope I helped!

Re: GSR Brake ? and Cross Drilled or Slotted? (SW20 MR2)
Well I emailed the guys at FastBrakes.com and they said that they could get me $150 shipped for a pair of front Cross Drilled rotor's so is this a good deal or no???
Does this mean that I have to use the master cylinder and booster or is that swap just for the added braking power??? Thanks again for all the help!!!
