Grinding/whining coming from distributor...
So I have an intermittent whining sound coming from inside of the distributor. It's a d16z6 and by intermittent I mean that it will whine for a few seconds then stop for a few seconds then whine again. There is no set pattern to the whining. I'm thinking that it may be bad distributor bearings but was wondering what else it could be. I took the cap and rotor off and they look fine to me.

What used dizzy's will work plug and play for the z6? Any from 92-00 or does it have to be obd1 vtec?
