Are the grinding noises constant?

Take it back to the same mechanic. Maybe he f'ed up.

Didn't install bearing properly.

Didn't re-install the drive shaft properly.

Etc.

its a constant metal on metal grinding noise when i turn left. would it have anything to do with the bearing the guy pressed in when i replaced my control arm?

My guess would have to be something to do with the drive draft. I know I had a similar issue with my old nissan maxima that it would make a horrible noise when I turned but when I replaced the drive shaft it went away.

so grinding or crackling? metal on metal? or tire rubbing on fender? he replaced a wheel bearing?

need more specifics. i would think it would grind if you turn right as well though
