Default Greddy Turbo for SOHC? Anyone have it?

I was trying to Search for information about turboing SOHCs with greddy.

I ordered DC Sports 4-2-1 Headers, A short Ram intake from AEM, AEM Pullys
all that should be coming within 5-10 days! I cant wait for that..

I really want to go with greddy turbo next... just need info if anyone eles has it... did your civic run good? any problems? esay to install? how much boost does it give? what eles do you need to do in order for your motor to last really long..

what to do so you wont get a blown engine...

Please dont post " try to Search moron! " please guys i'm tried.... and no smart comments... THANKS!

by the way i installed my short shifter last night... it feels small lol

You just wasted your money on the header if you go turbo.

Because a header will be replaced by a turbo/manifold setup. And your intake will be replaced by pipping from the turbo setup. Hopefully intercooler as well if it's a daily. That is why your just wasting your moneyh if a turbo is next. You just bought all the NA bolt ons and now want to instantly switch to something were those bolt ons and useless. That is what was meant.

only 5 post cause your new and sounds like new to the tuning world as well, and they don't want you putting to many odd ball questions up.

Make sure you read the rules fully as well!

EDIT: CHeck out the turbo forum for any turbo related questions.

Greddy kit = Great start up kit
But i seriously think you should read up on the FI forum or at least search the archives before you go and drop that kind of money on a turbo...you'll be surprised how many questions you'll get answered from that one forum alone...and remember, somethings always going to come up when going with boost

I agree with Infinity...great start up kit! I just got my second one (had to sell the first due to financial problems) and the only thing Im dissappointed with is the quality of the filter...it's pretty much just a pre-filter. Also, the directions for tuning the E-manage are in Japanese...so other than that...great kit (oh yeah...directions for this thing are a little insufficent also)

They are also a waste IMO. Take those back and save for Hondata and tuning.

considering the types of questions you are asking i would assume its safe to say that you don't know very much if anything about turboing your car. I would seriously consider reading up for a while on every aspect of the system including fuel managment, tuning, different turbo sizes, how much boost is safe with your setup, etc. Read up on all this and the things you will have to do to upkeep your turbo car. Also make sure you have plenty of extra money because things WILL come up that you will have to deal with. Do all this before you jump right into buying a turbo kit and installing it on your car. Also please use the search function...i know you said you've tried, but good lord there must be 1000 threads of information pertaining to your topic. Its not that hard to find. Good Luck with your turbo D project
