Default great....car not starting even after fuel pump change.

So the other night my car wouldnt start, so we did some checking and we figured that it was most likely the fuel pump, so we replaced it with a walboro (or how ever you spell it) that i got brand new for 100 bucks. car still wont start. it wasnt throwing a code or anything, just cranks like its not getting and fuel, and the fuel pressure guage on the fuel filter sits at zero. so my mechanic that did my swap (im running an ls vtec) said it could be my main relay. we messed with it and tried pushing it all the way in and for a second the car started and then died, now it wont start again. and now its throwing a constant check engine light. we tried jumping the harness to get a reading the engine light but it wont flash.

figured it was for sure the relay and my buddy brought his GSR over and its the exact same relay so we plugged it in and still no luck. same thing and now i have no ******* clue whats going on.

any ideas would be MUCH appreciated. thanks guys.

get a power tester and check that the fuel pump is getting power if its not check all sources if all else fails run ur own power from the fuse box as a quick fix until you can get it really fixed

this happend to my cousin one time, and what happened was the relay under the dash wasnt getting power. so the wired a toggle switch to it and some wire than the car started that was just a quick fix it was later done right. this was in a 89 crx

nah.

i unplugged my relay today and plugged it into my homies ej. it started up fine. so now im thinkin its the harness that the relay plugs into, its looks a little dirty inside. so i bought some electrical cleaner but no luck still...i guess imma have to check which wires are getting power and go from there.

I've checked all my grounds and all my fuses...so idk. im out of ideas...

so obviously the relay is fine...just not getting any power.
double check all your fuses for continuity with a meter
do not check by eye!

Something similiar like that happened to my friends Integra. I just went under the hood to the fusebox, wiggled some of those bigger black fuses and it started right up.
