Got my motor today b18c Is there a way to tell the year?
Here are pics of my new clip I just got.. I was wondering what year it was. Also what do you guys recomend for upgrades...

You were so close. Go a little more to the right from where you took this picture and you should see 4 dots (i think its 4) The first one will say some like 9/5 That makes it a 95 motor in a 96 car (i think thats how it works) But either way that first dot tells you the year.

Look to the right of the P72 on the 3rd picture. You should see a circle with 2 numbers in it. For example, if you see 9/6 it could be a 96 or 97. My motor [b16a2] says 9/9 because its from a 99-00 Si... that's just an example.

Thanks... I will look tonight when I get home.. Another Question I had was there any way to tell what type of lsd was in the trans with out opening it up.
