Got my ATS 4.9F/D and other goodies installed. WOW!!!
Well just got my car back this morning and WOW! what a difference. I got the ATS 4.9F/D, Quaife LSD, Toda flywheel, and JDM ITR clutch kit. I was able to sell off some of my CTR stuff and have been getting the parts together for a few months now. All I can say is the ATS F/D does wonders for a low torque engine like the B16a2. The flywheel feels great and perfectly matched to the total package. I'll be able to give a full review after I break-in the clutch and get it out on track next weekend at VIR.

Nice bunch of goodies you got there.
EDIT:
What kind of break-in does the Quaife require? I know clutch types require driving in "figure 8s" to break them in.

I love Quaife LSD's even more than my factory ITR, you should have loads of fun at VIR.

The Quaife is a Gear type unit, only requires lubrication, I would change the tranny fluid after a couple thousand miles though.

Awesome. I wish I could take a pic like that.... wait I wish I had a tranny that was working well enough to put that stuff on it

Re: Got my ATS 4.9F/D and other goodies installed. WOW!!! (6ghatch)
Ok, well after driving on the setup for a couple of weeks I must say I'm very pleased with the trans package.
The flywheel feels great, rev matching (heel/toe) took a couple of sessions on track to dial because the revs come up so quickly. I really don't feel that the car wants to stall from starts like other people have mentioned with lightweight flywheels.
Like I mentioned before, the ATS really helps the car pull through the gears. The only down falls would be the high revs on the highway (about 5000rpm at 80mph) and the depending on the track it may require a few extra shifts. On the other hand I may not have be able to get up to the same speeds without it.
The Quaife is one of those things you need to drive the car really hard to get the full effect. Going up turn 7 and VIR north was sooo fun, with the revs from the ATS and the traction from the Quaife, I was able to carry some good speed into the "Stevie Wonders." I would highly recommend this setup for people who enjoy track events or autocrosses and feel it was money well spent.

I could definitely see the difference in how your car pulled up that hill behind my Si with the factory 4.40 FD. Very nice. I think the Quaife and the FD will be my next modifications as I think they are a great value.
