Default goodies came in for the EG6

I ordered a buch of **** for my EG6 I've had for a month now, and some of it finally came today. My KYB AGX's and Tein S-Tech springs and ES' custom catback exhasut. Turbo goes on next week that I've had for the past 4 months since I had my crx an dnever got a chance to install it. Paid 250 shipped for the exhaust and it's got 2.25" mandrel piping throughtout and the muffler is flat black. I know this thread don't do nothing without pics but I don't know how to post pics so once I get everthing install if someone could post em' for me that'd be great.

Dont ya think that 2.25" piping is kinda small to run with the turbo??

Install's are fun

I agree, that's a bit too small for a turbo set up

email me your pics, i'll host em for u
tadman3d@fastmail.fm

and yeah, 2.5" would have been better for your turbo setup.

but 2.25 is definetely a whole lot better than stock! and if you want to run n/a for a while, you can do that on 2.25.

you'd be suprized to hear that you actually dont really need a 3" setup if your only running a small ammount of boost on a tiny motor.

Man! YOU Sound just like me! Same taste, same obnoxious laziness. Especially about things that you have already gone through the trouble to research, save, buy...just need to go through "hassle" of bolting it all on, that's the big chore .

[QUOTE=egizzle6]I Turbo goes on next week that I've had for the past 4 months since I had my crx an dnever got a chance to install it. QUOTE]

I've had my EG for the past month now..and i haven't even gone through hassle of getting it inspected..the car arrived with no gas and it still sits with no gas..
funny, though, i spend a heck of a lot of time on this forum, talking about civics.go figure.

Well the front springs and shocks went in without a hitch but the rears are a pain. The bolt that goes throw the bottom of the shock and through the lca was completely seized and rusted so I need to drill out the bushing. Total pain, but the front end was dropped pretty good with those Teins S-Techs.

Also the guy who I bought the catback from said the midpipe was 2.5 and when I got it today it was only 2.25. I won't be boosting that much though maybe 7-9 psi. Still using the stock injectors so that's there all there good to anyway.

Also I'll probaly be in the market pretty soon for new lca's cause I plan on getting a SRR rear sway/tie kit.

Well haven't yet got the turbo on, yet. Though my springs and shocks are on and the install went pretty good but the rears rub the fender so a little hammering took care of that! Yeah, the 2.25" was suppose to be 2.5 from what the guy told me but it's still better than that soda straw DX piping I was using.

Post pics of the car with the suspension on and let me know how it rides. I bought the same setup, not on yet though.

Thermal R&D makes a 3" exhaust for civics and integras for turbo setups

The 2.25 will have to do for now. But the ride is nice, just matter what setting you have it at. I had it at 4 on all corners for like a week and by the end of the week all my filling were loose! I like it alot cause I'm not really into the coilover sleeve seatup. Paid 450 for the whole setup new, and was worth it.

Honestly, you should try to sell the 2.25 exhaust while its still brand new this way you get the most out of it. Just use the stock exhaust till you get one that suits your application better.

cool man, brand new agx's sure are nice.
they perform VERY well.

I feel bad for sets on ppls dumped cars that lose all their damping due to bottoming out. suspension travel is a must folks!
I know first hand!
