Good Vibrations (sort of) and Breathing Easy
Alright, so we just put on a new short ram intake. The increase in power from it was more than I expected (He had done a cold air intake on his old Sentra and this felt more noticable). Anyway this has led me to believe that there may have had some original problems with the old air intake system (We havent pulled the bumper off yet to remove the last piece or so). It's running a lot easier and there seems to have been a nice jump in fuel mileage.
But to the point of this post, lots of vibration from this.. any tips on any ways to reduce this? The only thing we could think of off the top of our heads was to pad where its mounted with rubber washers to help absorb some. Anyone have anything else?
As for breathing easy I'm still on the search to find a good Oxygen Sensor. I found a promising DENSO one on ebay. Should I go with it? Is it a good price? or does anyone have any other suggestions?
PS- This was actually written by his girlfriend so forgive anything that doesnt make sense. I'm on the opposite end of the car spectrum from him. I like my diesel VWs, but am enjoying helping him with his civic. I've been looking for an O2 sensor to help him out and just want to be sure I find something good and not a POS overpriced rip off.

I think this is a common problem?
i had an Injen (250$ on ebay???) CAI and it rattled against the whole where the filter goes too. I put a piece of tshirt there any it was in the back so no1 ever saw it and it stopped the noise.

Re: Good Vibrations (platinumx6)
were just talking a short ram intake and the actual unit isnt rattling against anything.. you can feel the whole car vibrate though. not complaining about the power boost, just wondering if anything will help the excessive vibration.

All the mounts are fine....
My girlfriend sort of forgot 1 huge detail...it only does this under heavy acceleration. The car almost sounds like I have a huge tuner muffler on it.
Under normal acceleration it is fine...sound almost like there is nothing there minus the fact you can feel alittle more power there.
