Good Price for a 1996 EK? Please Help, buying tommorow!
I am about to purchase a 96 Honda Civic CX hatchback
Overall Impression
* Roma Red
* No Rust on Quarter panels
* Almost Ding Free and bumpers look good
* 140,000 miles on stock motor ( no mods )
* Decently maintained
Receipts of maintainence provided
* timing belt changed at 90K
* Brakes changed last winter (all around)
* tires replaced last year (tiny *** 14" steelies)
THE BAD
* NO AIR CONDITIONING (Never Ever had A/C)
* Both CV boots are torn (no axle noise)
* Hood has issues locking down because the cable will not retract (it probably needs new cable )
obviously downsides
* no Power Steering
* no ABS
* factory radio ( no CD / Tape)
He is asking $2,850
Is that asking too much or is it a good deal?
Please help I am stressing out if it is a good deal or not.

As far as I know, almost everythign was an option that was a "real" issue for you. The A/C and the PS were options on both. The only real difference I know if is the unpainted rear spoiler on the CX.

$2500 would be the ideal price. But if the car is in good shape, then a couple more hundreds wouldn't be a problem.

yea its a good price for it thats what i paid for mine almost a year ago, but u could probably go cheaper

it's a good deal
i got mine for 3,200 but it came with a 99 front end covn. GSR front seats and a/c.
