Good enough fluids?
I just picked up some oil, coolent and brake fluid today for free at my brother's work. He is the manager at a hardware store. Anyway, the oil is penzoil sae sw-30 for "stop and go traffic" I got 4 qts, max is 3.5. it was better then the store brand stuff, the only other 5w30. For coolent I got gal. of Halvoline brand, it was the most expensive there. For brake fluid I got Gunk brand DOT3, a quart of that. I plan on keeping my car for a very very long time, it has 111,000 on it. right now. I just bought it and I have no maintenece records so I am doing everything and starting my own.

Re: Good enough fluids? (mnbv)
One oil change of penzoil aint gonna kill ya, don't worry so much. Hondas are built to withstand more than one oil change with crappy oil, not that penn. is that crappy. You're good to go
