Default Good ECU?

I purchased a 96 EX Coupe with a B16A2 swap about 4 months ago it came with a P73 ECU that engaged vtec at 6k RPM and redlined at 8400. Weird enough it was rigged somehow to work with my car cause it plugged right in without a harness.

So I took it to my local honda/acura shop and they ordered me a chipped p28/harness for my car for $150.

The ECU is tuned for two step launch control at 4700rpm, 5100 vtec engagement and 8400rpm redline.

Let me give you some mod info. I got a b16a2 with DC 4-2-1 Header to testpipe to Skunk2 Megapower Exhaust, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, AEM Short Ram Intake, NOS Dry 75 shot, Mickey Thompson Drag Radials.

The car was preety much stock when I got it and I added most of the goodies.

What do you think of the ecu choice good specs?

Yes he put a nitrous basemap on it. The dude rigged it so I can turn the nitrous basemap off and on when I want to.

p28 with the vtec engage point RAISED to 5100? stock engage point for a d16z6 (p28 ecu comes with the z6) is 4500. raising it servers no point since honda KNEW what they were doing when they made the system. Only reason to change vtec engage point is if your turbo, in which case you drop the vtec engage level to help your turbo spool quicker (valve open longer = more air flow = faster turbo spool)

EDIT: Nitrous is for *****'s who cant tune.....
