Good deal or no?
Alright I got a shot at a '95 Honda Civic EX. He wants $1000. Now it needs alot of work. From what he knows and what I can see, it will need new fenders, hood, and trunk. Theres a small rust spot that could possibly just be patched easily. Now, it also needs inner and outer tie rods for the front wheels. It also needs a new spindle for the rear passenger wheel. So I'm asking if this is a good deal or not as I know nothing about these cars.

it all depends if you're going to do the work yourself. how much money do you plan on spending? how dedicated are you to finishing the project? for someone like me who does all the work myself, no i don't think it's a bad deal.

Alright well , it also has a new transmission, rack and pinion, master and slave cylinder, new clutch flywheel, new timing belt, and new calipers in rear. But the guy I'm getting it from is a friend of mine so him and I would be doing the work together.
Also forgot to mention that this car has a Salvage title, but I talked him down to $800 and he's getting the rear spindle thing fixed for free.

Salvage title on a beat up 95 Civic = Sub $500 car, Period.

UPDATE::
So I bought the car, got it for 370 with new interior. Not a bad deal I guess. Runs and drives great.
