Re: Is this a good deal on a '93 Cx? (Evil Civic)
If its lived in Wisconsin for a while be sure to check for rust. Particularly underneath the back chassis, around the rear wheel wells, and the rear fuel line union. The CX came with less undercoating and is prone to rust in those areas. I'm halfway through a rebuild of a 93 CX that had such a severely rusted fuel line I had to replace it. That was such a total pain in the *** I don't even want to describe it.
If its relatively rust free then yes, thats a very good deal.

a friend paid $300 for his cx. car is in good shape except each front fender is dented in (easily replaceable) and the headgasket is, well, in a few pieces . but that motor isnt going to be used anymore. worst thing about the car is that when we were removing the exhaust, mucky coolant flowed out of the exhaust piping. the car lasted 30 miles though
