Default Is this a good deal??

Hey, I can pick up a GSR (us spec) for 1,000 right now, is that a good deal? It doesn't come with a tranny or the ecu and it has 28K miles on it. If I where to get it, what tranny would I want to put on there and how much would a tranny cost. And what ecu would I want to buy, and how much would that be? I have a 89 crx si and I'm going to use a hydro tranny with hasports new product. Thanks in advance.

Any B-Series Fits. (GSR, Si, Type-R) Hydro tranny is +/- 500
The stock GSR ECU is a P72. +/-150

Most of the ones I've sen have been about $1500.

So I should go for it? Or wait a lil bit longer and buy a JDM motor?

If you can check it out first to make sure it looks good. Do you think a JDM motor is much, if any, better than a USDM motor with 28k? Do you think you could find one with guaranteed 28k miles or less for a similar price?

Either it is stolen or the owner is a good friend of yours.

I have seen them for $1000 but in good condition they go for around $1500.
