hey, i know this guy that has a Type R that really didn't take care of the engine..*ran it open header for a while...revs the **** outta it and what not...anyways..

he compression checked it and it came up fine..good #'s..but i can't remember them..
it smoked a lil at high *** R's so he wanted to fix it...so he ripped down the motor...

so...its a short block with the head off basically...after inspection the head could use a cleaning..machined cams...valves and seals..then put back together...but this kid is poor and needs an engine for his daily driver....this is where i come into play..

i have an LS engine that is nice...but i obviously want more..

he'll take my LS engine..Stage 2 clutch..and b16 trans..+ 700 dollars for the motor in peices..w/o the R trans but with a GSR trans....seems like a good deal in my head..but now that i have it on paper seems like i may be gettin ripped...

opinions would be great...
