Default Going rate for an B16a2 setup?

Finally got my car but its a 96 hx... I want to do a swap in a few months... how much would a B16a2 engine and tranny go for? I've seen it for $1350.00 at http://www.topendmotorsports.c....html

Is it cheaper in the streets/from this forum?
Thx

iv'e never seen them that low, well, the old ones, yes. for the newer ones maybe the long block goes for that much. But for the newer ones, usually they are around the $3,000 area for a complete swap (engine, tranny, ecu, axels).

HMO rates them at $2250 for the complete swap. That's the 92-95 one though.

GSR's are more like 3200 from HMO, and probably a bit more from IAS, that's before shipping, mounts you need to make it work in an EK, other crap that always comes up when you're doing a swap, and no LSD option.

Shipping - 350+
A/C, Rear Mount, Driver Side Mount (from an Si) - $200

that's without the LSD option, and something else will always come up.

Have 3k ready.
