Well FINE fuckstick, if your gonna get a sohc vtec OBD1 engine, get the D16Z6, they are easy to find, cheap, and handle boost like a champ. As for a turbo, a T25 will spool fast and push enough boost for your engine, of course you could always go for something bigger such as a T3/T4OE, which is my future choice in turbo. Just remember that the sohc doesnt redline too high so you might want something that will spool by 2500-3000rpm. You will need new axles and shift linkage because b-series is different length(my LS was longer than my CX). You will also need your ECU to be chipped to run a SOHC engine and you will need it re-chipped with uberdata or hondata AT LEAST if you want to push enough boost to run 13's. Don't cut corners and use an FMU, just spend the money, get your car tuned right and your turbo D will last you for as long as you can beat on it.</TD></TR></TABLE>

See, was that too hard to do?

10psi should be enough to easily hit 13's with decent equipment. Already have an idea of the turbo equipment. The motor im looking at is coming with the shift linkage so that will be no problem, axles are everywhere around here. Also, the hack seems to be working for most turbo d series, but hondata will definitely be in my future. I cant cut corners tuning because I cant afford to not have a car if i blow something up, and i cant tune myself so i need someone else to do it.

hahahah.....are you serious???

you are FULL OF CRAP!!! bseries shift linkage will not work on d series or visa vera...unless HIGHLY modified!!!

Dont get me wrong, the hack will work, but dont run too much boost on it and you will be fine. And the beauty about the D's is, if you blow one up, its like 400$ for a complete longblock, and you just start over again

I actually despise the hack actually. Coming from the b series game, the one thing you dont skeet on, esp going turbo, is EM. The hack just seems ghetto to me. But, whatever gets the car running. Hell, I might just accumulate parts all winter and not bust it out until the summer. That way I can make sure I can get all top quality parts.

And yeah, d series stuff is SO cheap. You can buy a low mileage block for what you can buy blocks with cracked sleeves with a b series motor. Supply and demand, it's a bitch.
